CampusLore adopts Quicklink for NFL and NBA athlete discussions
Swansea, June 2020: CampusLore, a platform for a pro-players’ take on the US College game that creates original video content with professional athletes, has adopted the Quicklink for NFL and NBA athlete content creation.
The first content series developed by CampusLore using the Quicklink solution is CL Live. CL Live is a weekly NBA/NCAA college basketball show featuring current NBA players Georges Niang (Utah Jazz ) and Monte Morris (Denver Nuggets), who discuss and breakdown a variety of topics about college basketball and the NBA.
The Quicklink solution has enabled CampusLore to introduce remote guests into their shows from a laptop or mobile device. The Quicklink solution has become more increasingly prevalent in CampusLore’s content requirements with the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the pandemic, CampusLore had an increased need in receiving contributions from NFL and NBA players remotely from any location using their own personal video capture devices—cellphones and laptops—to create broadcast-quality original video content.
“We’ve had an excellent experience using the Quicklink solutions. After setup, we’ve successfully used the system many times to create remote content featuring NBA and NFL players,” said Lee Bushkell, President of CampusLore.
Lee continues: “The Quicklink solution has been incredibly easy and convenient for our talent and athletes to use. We have even had other content companies and producers ask us about how we are able to get such consistent, high quality video content using a remote studio setup”.
The Mix-minus Multiviewer solution was also used to create individual high-quality recordings as well as a simultaneous full-resolution outputs.
Due to CampusLore working with professional athletes from all over the United States, Quicklink has become an essential element within their workflow.
