Arqiva named Independent Teleport Operator of the Year 2011

Arqiva has been named Independent Teleport Operator of the Year 2011 by the World Teleport Association (WTA).

The award, presented at Satellite 2011 in Washington D.C. on March 15th, recognises Arqiva’s continued commitment to delivering excellence in all areas of its business.
 
Working with leading names including Sky, the BBC, ESPN, ABS-CBN, Universal Networks International, Traffic Sports International and Echostar, Arqiva also led the way in the satellite delivery of media content to digital cinemas.
Arqiva signed significant agreements with Dolby, Deluxe Digital London, XDC and Arts Alliance Media, while pioneering large scale satellite distribution of live 3D cinema. The award further recognised Arqiva’s ongoing excellence in design, engineering and technology, quality of service for users, quality of management and operations, as well as cost effectiveness and efficiency.
