Amid the ongoing war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, the humanitarian situation has worsened in Khartoum amid warnings of a water crisis.

The main water station in the city of Bahri was severely damaged as a result of clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, causing a stifling water crisis that affected most of the neighborhoods of Khartoum Bahri.

Eyewitnesses reported that the neighborhoods of Khartoum Bahri have been suffering from a scarcity of water supply for more than a year, amid appeals made by citizens to civil society organizations and neighborhood committees to work on providing water through wells.
Meanwhile, officials at the Sudanese Electricity Company revealed that there was a power outage in large parts of Khartoum and a number of cities, with 3 important transformer stations completely out of service, and 4 stations operating at only half their capacity.

Residents of the majority of the capital's triangular neighborhoods suffer from severe water and electricity problems that have turned their lives into living hell, amid intensifying clashes around the army headquarters, especially the armored corps, one of the most important weapons of the Sudanese army.

Conducting a report on the water crisis from the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and reflecting the suffering of the local population with the issue of water by hosting a case, a government official and conducting Voxpops.
