75th Anniversary D-Day 6th June 2019

June the 6th 1944. was one of the most important dates in World War Two when almost 160.000 Allied troops stormed the Normandy beaches to start the liberation of Western-Europe.

As the writer and director of the documentary D-Day Heroes broadcast on both the Discovery and History Channels I have unique first hand knowledge into the history surrounding this event.

Newsplash will be offering :

• Depending on demand live positions from key locations along this fifty mile stretch of coast.

• Making available our own archive footage of interviews with veterans such as, Major John Howard, ( Pegasus Bridge), Len Lomel 2nd Ranger Battalion ( Pointe du Hoc) available to broadcasters.

• Providing B roll aerial shots of the key locations along the entire beach head.
